A career in the retail & luxury sectors is desired and difficult to break into. London Business School provides students with the right contacts and resources to expand their skill set across functions in retail and luxury management.

Curriculum

The £1.2 trillion global luxury sector is evolving. Brands are developing digital ecosystems, social commerce has amplified the power of word of mouth and the need to push boundaries is intensifying. The London Business School curriculum is designed to address these headwinds.

The retail industry contributes massively towards the UK’s economy. At London Business School, we’ve forged connections with retail's biggest names. Led by world-renowned faculty, our programmes will equip you with the knowledge you need to be successful in the sector.

Walpole Programme in Luxury Management

Walpole is a unique alliance involving 170 of Britain’s finest luxury brands, including Burberry, Alexander McQueen, Rolls-Royce, Boodles, Harrods and Jimmy Choo. Our partnership with Walpole provides the perfect opportunity for you to gain real-world experience in established luxury brands. As a London Business School student, you can apply to join this one-of-a-kind programme and be part of a collaboration that connects Britain’s most talented up-and-coming entrepreneurs and leaders with a network of senior luxury retail mentors.

Key aspects of the programme include seminars with senior executives from within the Walpole membership and a one-on-one mentorship scheme with senior industry leaders. Eligible full-time programme students apply with a CV and cover letter in October and shortlisted candidates attend a recruitment day at Walpole's offices in November.
